In a more pleasing gaming news post, there are two games that have a no failure possible rating. These two games are Star Wars: Force Unleashed and Civilization Revolution. Not only is Civilization making it’s long awaited pilgrimage to the consoles, but the SW:FU features the most ridiculous usage of force powers ever seen in a Star Wars game, not to mention costume changes and a bad ass apprentice. I’ve been missing my fix since JK2! Both games look like a knock out, and I cannot wait to see how they turn out.

I don’t know if it was because it was the first PS3 FPS that actually came out on time, or if it was because 1080p was cool at first, but Resistance: Fall of Man was not nearly as good of a game as some put it out to be. With that being said, why, I ask, are they making a second one? It looks like the same thing: Alien, Alien, Human, oh noes gunshot dead, alien, all odds against us, no way we can win. Gears of war did that better, in my humble opinion.

Valentines Day
We all know this day as “everyone gets chocolate, girls are giddy, males start thinking with both of their heads,(one more so than the other) and love is in the air (figuratively, because it’s not really). What do I think it is? Read the rest of this entry »

Now this is absolutely sick news. There seems to be a proposal to place Google Maps on gas pumps. That could be quite useful, seeing as everyone can benefit from a bit of directional information. Especially those consistently turning down one way streets in Manhattan. Here’s a video to check out for yourself:

Granted the first minute and a half are irrelevant, she isn’t going to make you want to pull your eyes out of your sockets, so bare with me here people.

Being a photographer, anything that has to do with a shutter gives me the chills. That was until today, when I read about someone who tracked down a couple using photos on their camera for clues; shoot me now, he definitely wanted a TV spot.
Apparently this guy sat on a Canon digital camera (no more than $300 so don’t worry about it) and then embarked on a magical journey through Narnia (Manhattan).
The funny thing about this is that the photo reminds me of Beth and Rob from the movie “Cloverfield“.

” I had a great day “
He gets Kudos for doing this though, and if he did this out of kind, good natured heart and not drunken misjudgment of whom he really is, I give him 40 morale points. If i could digg his generosity, it’d be way up there.

Over at engadget.com, I read today that the government granted a mollywhopper of a patent that is allowing..well..this. And I quote the boys of engadget when i say:
[ What would you do if the US patent office gave you the go-ahead on a far-reaching, non-specific application filed for a "mobile entertainment and communication device"? If your answer was that you would immediately draw up lawsuits against almost every major electronics manufacturer that even looked at a smartphone funny, you get a cookie. Yes folks, as impossible as it is to believe, the holders of the aforementioned patent have just sued Apple, Nokia, RIM, Sprint, AT&T, HP, Motorola, Helio, HTC, Sony Ericsson, UTStarcomm, and Samsung... amongst others. ]
If you read on, you’ll be fully disturbed when you understand that they filed the papers a day before the patent was even granted. How hasty of you. I’m telling you, lawyers with psychic abilities to see the future are the next genetic modification. I for one own a Motorola Q, and these is messing with my Windoze mobile 6. Sign my petition to get them to stop!
I’m just kidding, there is no petition, I’m just being an ass about the situation, because it’s insanely American of them to do something like this.

There seems to be an issue here, as this cyber wars are becoming a serious issue. Skimming through my lifeline Google, I found that there are many a hacker messing with serious factions. The most recent occurrence is the church of Scientology cyber war. I didn’t read much, but hackers messing with Tom Cruise sounds like:
Mission Impossible 4: Change your religion.
In other news, over at the Adventures in Frickintadistan blog, I spotted some pretty disturbing news pertaining to a weird puppy offspring. You can view it here. I’m not even going to post a picture, because quite frankly it’s disturbing and I’d rather let the owner of that blog have all of the credit.

I don’t know if you guys know, but XBOX 360 can get pretty horrid when it comes to that 100 dollar wireless adapter. Over at instructables, there’s a great tutorial on how to use your LAPTOP as a wireless adapter! Now that’s good stuff.
